Anneliese Allen-NorrisSenior Legal Manager - Clean Energy and Air Quality
Anneliese trained as a scientist before obtaining a Masters in Innovation, Technology and Law, and qualifying as solicitor in England. Responsible for developing the charity's cross-cutting projects in clean energy and air quality strategy across the UK and Europe, she focuses on collaborative initiatives that seek to influence policies and legislation through broad stakeholder engagement. These interdisciplinary projects promote an integrated approach to tackling climate and air pollution, whilst providing a platform for new voices in these sectors. Before joining EDF, Anneliese gained extensive experience in top-tier law firms working with the public sector, NGOs and regulators, whilst studying energy transition pathways as part of her postgraduate studies in climate change. She set up our Breathe London project and also manages our carbon intensity partnership with National Grid and WWF, using our fourth wave of environmental innovation to empower citizens and businesses to take action to reduce their carbon footprint.
